A gift of $7,500 will provide a new laptop and a college scholarship for a SCLP high school intern. A gift of $10,000 will build a reading library with culturally relevant literature, literary classics, and books for struggling readers in one of two renovated learning centers. A gift of $15,000 will make it possible to purchase new computers and student laptops for one of two learning centers that will be renovated with state of the art digital technology.
Naming OpportunitiesA gift of $50,000 will establish a summer scholarship endowment for SCLP graduates selected to attend programs such as the Duke Young Writers Camp. A gift of $75,000 will fund the restoration of one of two classrooms in the historic Spring Creek School, now the Spring Creek Community Center. A gift of $100,000 will establish a college scholarship endowment for SCLP graduates chosen for one of four competitive positions as high school interns.
